Aaron Segura, MS, BS

Aaron Segura, MS is an MD-PhD candidate at the University of New Mexico specializing in biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, and precision medicine. With a Master’s in Statistics and AI training from Stanford University, his work integrates machine learning with single-cell transcriptomics, metagenomics, and spectral data to discover biomarkers, improve diagnostics, and guide therapies. He has developed models for lncRNA-RNA interactions in sarcoidosis, IR spectroscopy breath analysis for infectious diseases, and predictive analytics in cancer immunology and neurosurgery.
