Ashaya Jaglal is a PhD candidate in Radiation Oncology at the Amsterdam University Medical Center. She earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Technology and Physics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she built a strong background in applying physics to medicine. Her doctoral research focuses on fast irradiation techniques for palliative care, aiming to make treatments more efficient while maintaining high standards of patient care. With a career goal of becoming a Medical Physics Expert, she is committed to bridging technical innovation with clinical practice. At Amsterdam UMC, Ms. Jaglal collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, physicists, researchers, and radiotherapy technologists, gaining valuable experience in both the technical and patient-centered aspects of radiotherapy. This conference marks her first opportunity to present her research to the international radiation oncology community.
