Evan Porter, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the UCSF Department of Radiation Oncology. He received his bachelor’s degree in physics from Grinnell College in 2017, and his PhD in Medical Physics from Wayne State Univeristy in 2022. Afterwards, Dr. Porter trained at UCSF and completed his residency in therapeutic medical physics in 2024. His research interests include treatment planning, brain metastases, deep learning, large data processing and clinical software development.
