Dr. Junyi Xia is an Associate Professor and board-certified medical physicist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Physics from the University of Florida and has developed a distinguished research program focused on enhancing clinical efficiency and treatment safety through automation and artificial intelligence. Supported by multiple federal and state grants, his work has advanced the translation of innovative technologies into clinical practice. Dr. Xia holds numerous patents in treatment monitoring and medical device design and is a Senior Member of the National Academy of Inventors.
