Koki Takabatake, MPH, is an M.D. candidate at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He earned his MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Public Health. His research spans oncology, hereditary cancer genetics, patient-reported outcomes, and health disparities. At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, he works at the BayesMendel Lab on modeling age-specific ovarian cancer risk among individuals with PALB2 pathogenic variants and benchmarking large language models for multi-cancer early detection test evaluation. At Boston Medical Center, he collaborates with the radiation oncology department to conduct research at the intersection of clinical outcomes, socioeconomic disparities, and quality-of-life metrics.
