Maleeha Qazi, MD, PhD
Maleeha Qazi, MD PhD, is a 3rd year resident at the University of Toronto Department of Radiation Oncology. She completed her PhD in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, where she developed patient-derived xenograft models of cancer development and treatment resistance in primary and metastatic brain tumours. During medical school she worked on identifying subtype-dependent biomarkers in breast-to-brain metastases. Her current research interests include the study of immune microenvironment in brain metastases and the outcomes of dose escalation in spine SBRT.
