Rakhi Kaila, MD

Dr. Rakhi Kaila is a board-eligible radiation oncologist and senior resident at Wayne State University’s Detroit Medical Center, with anticipated completion of residency in 2026. She brings multidisciplinary expertise from prior training in neurology, internal medicine, and emergency medicine, which complements her advanced skills in modern radiation therapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, HDR brachytherapy, and proton therapy. Her research spans neuroimaging diagnostics and radiation response biomarkers, with multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, as well as presentations at national conferences such as ASTRO. Known for her adaptability, compassion, and strong work ethic, Dr. Kaila is dedicated to advancing precision cancer treatment while providing holistic, patient-centered care.
