Dr. Blach obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Southampton in 2021. Following a year as a Foundation Year Doctor at Klinikum Kassel (Kassel, Germany), working in both the Department of Plastic Surgery and the Department of Neurology, Dr. Blach has served as a resident physician in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Hannover Medical School (Hannover, Germany) since September 2022. In addition to clinical duties, Dr. Blach is the head of the International Team of the Young German Society for Radiation Oncology (jDEGRO) and a board member of the Working Group on Benign Diseases within the German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO). Recently, this group published the first English-language German guideline for the radiotherapy of benign diseases. Dr. Blach research focuses on the radiotherapy of sarcomas and bone tumors, as well as the radiotherapy of benign diseases.
