Robert L. Walker III MD MS is a PGY 3 radiation oncology resident at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia PA. Dr. Walker completed a master’s in biomedical engineering-devices track at the University of Utah and 5 years of neurosurgery pre-residency fellowship at Boston University Medical Center where he also held a faculty appointment as a clinical instructor of neurosurgery in the medical school. Dr. Walker has a special interest in the invention of medical devices, specifically in the CNS disease space. He is CEO and founder of a surgery education company called Leo Board and a bio design think tank called Walker Projects Lab. During his short residency tenure, he has fostered an interest in “Functional Radiosurgery” with specific novel use cases for benign neurologic disease including hydrocephalus and intracranial hemorrhage. In his spare time, Dr. Walker is an avid skier, triathlete, and pipe organist.
