Serah Choi, MD, PhD
I am a CNS radiation oncologist and researcher. I received my medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh MSTP. My PhD was on preclinical studies on ATM kinase inhibitors as radiosensitizers for cancer. I completed residency training at the UCSF Department of Radiation Oncology where I was also an ABR Holman Research Pathway Fellow studying genomics of brain tumors. I was an Assistant Professor at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 2018 - 2023. I served as the CNS Section Leader and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Medical Director for the Radiation Oncology Department and was a K12 Clinical Oncology Scholar for the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UPMC, Brain Tumor Program Co-Director and physician scientist in the Hillman Cancer Center with a focus on radiosensitizers for brain tumors. I am dedicated to improving care for patients with brain and spine tumors.
