session DESCRIPTION
This session is designed to provide residents, trainees and junior faculty with information on grant writing. Grant writing is a critical skill for clinician researchers, and this workshop provides an opportunity to hear from experienced ASTRO volunteers. After a short presentation of educational information attendees will join assorted breakout sessions based on their interests.
learning objectives
- Analyze strengths, weaknesses and pitfalls of specific aims for grant proposals.
- Discuss the key elements of a grant proposal.
- Explain the NIH grant review and revision process.
