Shisuo Du, MD, PhD
Prof. ShiSuo Du is a highly accomplished researcher and academician in the field of oncology. He holds a Ph.D. in Oncology from Fudan University and has completed his postdoctoral fellowship at New York University. He served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University. In November 2018, Professor Du was recruited back to China under the "Shanghai Overseas High-level Talent Program" and assumed the position of Executive Deputy Chief of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Zhongshan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University. He is also appointed as a Key Position Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Fudan University. Prof. Du's primary research interests focus on the fundamental and clinical aspects of the combined application of radiotherapy and immunotherapy strategies. His work has been published in more than 40 prestigious oncology journals as either the first or corresponding author, including J Thorac Oncol, Cell Mol Immunol, Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys, and Gut Microbes. Notably, he has contributed 8 papers to the internationally renowned journal Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys, establishing himself as one of the most productive young scholars in the field of radiation oncology in China.
