Dr. Shaitelman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is a board-certified radiation oncologist with expertise in breast cancer treatments. Dr. Shaitelman is interested in targeted radiation treatments, the interaction of radiation, breast cancer and the immune system, and lymphedema. She has externally funded translational and clinical research particularly evaluating how to use radiation and a biological tool to improve breast cancer outcomes.
