Stella Yoo, MD
Dr. Stella Yoo is the Vice Chief of the Radiation Oncology Service and Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Los Angeles General Medical Center, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Her clinical expertise is in the treatment of breast and thoracic malignancies. Her research focuses on health disparities, including studies of the Korean American immigrant population in the greater Los Angeles area, for which she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations. She has received multiple honors, including the ACGME David C. Leach Award, the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award, and the ARRO Educator of the Year Award. She also serves as Treasurer of the Korean American Society for Radiation Oncology (KASTRO) and Vice President of the Korean American Graduate Medical Association (KAGMA).
