Tal Rebecca Sherman is a fourth-year medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine, graduating in 2026. Originally from Plainfield, New Jersey, she earned her BS in Neuroscience and Chemistry and MS in Neuroscience from Tulane University, where she received the Oaks Wreath Award and the Leadership Medallion. Her research in radiation oncology spans Jefferson, NYU Langone, and Crozer-Chester, where she has contributed to projects on tumor evolution under radiotherapy, outcomes of stereotactic accelerated partial breast irradiation, and inter-fractional SpaceOAR gel stability in prostate cancer. Beyond research, she is passionate about teaching, serving as a peer mentor, writing coach, and content contributor for the Spoonful of Sugar podcast. She has held leadership roles as Vice President of Drexel’s Global Health Interest Group and co-founder of its first cryptocurrency club, DuCrypto. A certified group fitness instructor, she enjoys integrating health and wellness into her community, with personal interests in kickboxing, tennis, and skiing. She is dedicated to integrating clinical practice, research, and education to drive patient-centered and innovative advancements in radiation oncology.
