Dr. Tejaswi Kanala is an Advanced Radiation Oncology Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focusing on gastrointestinal malignancies and sarcomas. He previously trained at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he completed his residency and senior residency in radiation oncology, and clinical cancer genetics.
His clinical and academic interests include ablative radiotherapy, radiobiology, and health equity in oncology. He has presented his work at international meetings such as SIOP and APBCS, and his research has been published in Clinical Oncology and The Lancet Regional Health. He is currently also involved in collaborative studies evaluating role of ablative radiation in unresectable GI tract cancers. He is ECFMG-certified and an active member of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India.
